As long as there have been parents and children, “home
schooling” has been happening. It was only with the emergence of widespread
compulsory public education that this age-old method of instruction was virtually
forgotten, but not eradicated. Foreign service workers or missionaries who by choice
or necessity did not send their children to boarding schools continued the tradition of
home education. Children who had illnesses that kept them from attending school were
frequently taught at home. And families who lived in the remote areas of Alaska or
other isolated regions answered their children’s educational needs with home
schooling.
The Home School Legal Defense Association (HSLDA) is a non-profit membership organization of families who home school their children nationwide. Their Mission is to preserve and advance the fundamental, God-given, constitutional right of parents and others legally responsible for their children to direct their education.

Zola Levitt Ministries
This ministry is
guided by the standard of Romans 1:16, "To the Jew first and also to the
Gentile." It is principally a teaching and evangelistic association that works
through Gentiles to reach the Jews. They inform their Gentile listeners of those
principles of the faith which will be most helpful to them in understanding and witnessing
to their Jewish friends.
Zola Levitt is a Jewish Christian thoroughly educated in the synagogues and brought to the Messiah in 1971. He is best known as the host of the weekly national television program Zola Levitt Presents, and was formerly the host of two top-rated radio talk shows, The Heart of the Matter in Dallas, and the nationally syndicated Zola Levitt Live.

Jihad and Terrorism Studies Project
The threat of militant-Islamic terrorist organizations operating in the United States has become a reality. In response, The Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI) has established a Jihad and Terrorism Studies Project to monitor militant-Islamic groups that educate and preach Jihad and martyrdom in mosques, school systems, and in the Middle East media.
This project will also focus on individuals and radical Islamist organizations, sermons and religious rulings (fatwas) and reactions to terrorist attacks both in the U.S. and abroad. You would do well, Christian, to read and understand what is being taught against you so that you will know better how to pray.
